SUMMARY:SELPA Open House
DESCRIPTION:SELPA Open House\, co-sponsored with the Community Advisory Committee (CAC)\, is an opportunity for parents and the community to meet with SELPA staff and/or parent representatives in an informal\, casual setting. The Open House is an opportunity for parents/guardians to discuss and ask questions about IEPs\, gain information about compliance\, obtain resources for students\, make needed connections between Districts and agencies and get tips and tricks for navigating conflict\, etc. from a neutral party. The SELPA will be sponsoring 5 in-person Open Houses at the SELPA Office at 191 Alvarado Street on: \n  \nSeptember 12\, 2022\, 9am-10am \nNovember 16\, 2022\, 11am-12pm \nJanuary 13\, 2023\, 1pm-2pm \nMarch 14\, 2022\, 2pm-3pm \nMay 17\, 2023\, 3pm-4pm \n  \nAnd 4 virtual Open-House via Zoom on: \nOctober 11\, 2022\, 2pm-3pm \nDecember 15\, 2022\, 3pm-4pm \nFebruary 13\, 2023\, 5pm-6pm \nApril 12\, 2023\, 6pm-7pm \nFor in-person Open House\, all COVID-19 measures for Districts and school sites will be implemented\, including COVID screening and masks.
