DESCRIPTION:Curious about Toastmasters? \nDivision A Toastmasters invites residents of Santa Cruz\, Monterey\, and San Benito counties to its “Supercharge Your Communication Skills” Workshop and Open House on Saturday\, February 24 from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The event is located at the Kathleen A. King Community Room in the Community Health Trust of Pajaro Valley building near Watsonville Hospital. \nThis FREE event includes a hands-on workshop\, networking lunch\, prizes\, informative sessions and Q&A about the self-paced Toastmasters program that develops speaking and leadership skills. \nDivision A Director Helen Josephine kicks off the event with the “Give Effective Feedback” workshop facilitated by Megan Mayer\, DTM. This interactive workshop offers members and guests practice using effective communication techniques useful for everyday life\, at work and home. Enjoy a bite to eat during the club showcase where you’ll meet with local clubs\, members\, and district leaders. \nHeadlining the afternoon\, Abhijeet Joshi\, DTM\, Program Manager at NVIDIA and District Director\, delivers an inspirational keynote speech and Raji Bandanapudi\, DTM\, Senior Engineer at NVIDIA and Program Quality Director at District 101\, presents Putting It All Together—The Toastmasters Educational Program. The open house concludes with “Ask Us Anything about Toastmasters” Q&A. \nToastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that builds confidence and teaches public speaking skills through a worldwide network of clubs that meet online and in person. Division A Toastmasters is comprised of seventeen clubs that meet at various days and times in cities throughout the tri-county region.
