DESCRIPTION:All San Benito County residents can dispose of up to 15 gallons/125 pounds of household hazardous waste on Saturday\, July 20th from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.at the John Smith Road Landfill (2650 John Smith Road\, Hollister). Please bring your CA Driver’s License or ID indicating you are a resident of San Benito County. We accept ammonia\, bleach\, bathroom/kitchen cleaners\, aerosol sprays\, polishes\, fluorescent lamps/bulbs\, nail polish/nail polish remover\, batteries\, smoke detectors\, medications\, sharps (in approved sharp containers)\, pesticides\, weed killers\, motor oil/oil filters\, computer monitors\, CPU’s\, TV’s\, VCR’s\, copiers\, cell phones\, paint/paint thinners\, wood stains\, glues/adhesives\, solvents and more. \nHousehold Hazardous Waste Recycling Events are held the 3rd Saturday of every month from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. \nContact San Benito County Integrated Waste Management with questions regarding our Household Hazardous Waste Event\, (831) 636-4110.
