SUMMARY:Annual Jazz @ Gavilan Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Gavilan College community is excited to announce the annual Jazz @ Gavilan concert\, scheduled for Thursday\, November 7\, 2024\, at 7:00 p.m.\, in the Gavilan Theater. \nThis year’s performance promises an unforgettable evening of live jazz featuring faculty member Dahveed Behroozi on piano and synthesizer\, accompanied by the drummer Jason Lewis.  The duo will showcase original compositions that debuted at the San Jose Jazz New Works Festival earlier this year. \nOpening the concert will be the Sobrato High School Jazz Band\, under the direction of Greg Chambers\, offering a vibrant start to the evening’s festivities. \nTicket Information: \n\nFree for Students\nGeneral Admission: $20\nSeniors: $10\n\nTickets can be purchased online at Gavilan Jazz Tickets or at the door. \nThis concert is not to be missed!  Join us for a night of exceptional music and celebrate the artistry of our local talent.  We look forward to seeing you there! \nFor additional information contact: pio@gavilan.edu .
