DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the River Run\, back for a great 6th year in 2026. A family-friendly event that will be fun for everyone! You’ll be able to run or walk a 5K distance or a 1-mile untimed fun run. The River Run 2026 is a unique experience that meanders through a working sand and gravel quarry. The event takes you inside the Southside Sand and Gravel Quarry to see the working quarry site\, the banks of the San Benito River\, specialized equipment that processes the rock\, and beautiful natural surroundings. \nRiver Run benefits the YMCA of San Benito and begins at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday\, September 12\, 2026. \nPricing is available for individuals or families. The family pricing option is available for families/groups of 4 or more participants. \nThe event is located the Graniterock Sand and Gravel Quarry at 5632 Airline Highway\, Hollister\, CA 95023. Free parking is available at the race site.

Our goal is to build 30 beds for San Benito\, North Monterey & South Clara Counties.\nBunks Across America is an annual event where local chapters across the nation participate in the largest\nbed building event in a single day. \nThrough local and national sponsorships\, SHP is able to put a real dent in the national child bedlessness crisis. DESCRIPTION:Inspired by a newspaper article detailing a mysterious discovery inside the womb of an elderly woman\, Mummified Deer is a haunting and moving tale of 84-year-old Mama Chu\, whose story spans nearly a century of Mexican and Californian history.  The play weaves together secrets\, ancestral memory\, trauma\, and the spirit world\, carrying audiences into the ancient Yaqui villages of the Sonoran Desert in northern Mexico.
