DESCRIPTION:Community members and local businesses are invited to donate new blankets and help bring warmth and joy to local youth this holiday season. \nHOLLISTER\, Calif. — November 2\, 2026 — Youth Alliance is inviting our friends\, neighbors\, and local businesses to help spread holiday warmth and joy through its 5th Annual Blanket Drive\, an annual tradition dedicated to providing youth with the gift of warmth during this holiday season.\nThe goal of this year’s drive is to ensure local youth served by Youth Alliance receive a new blanket. Donations of new blankets are being accepted now through Tuesday\, December 1\, 2026. Community members\, families\, and local businesses are encouraged to participate\, spread the word\, and help make this holiday season a little warmer for the youth in our community. \nDaisy Reynoso\, Community Outreach Specialist at Youth Alliance\, said the annual blanket drive helps create meaningful moments for youth and shows the community’s commitment to supporting local youth. \n“Our community has always shown tremendous generosity. Every blanket makes a difference. Something as simple as a new blanket can remind youth that their community cares about them. We are excited to continue this tradition and provide something meaningful to the youth we serve.” \nAs part of this year’s holiday celebration\, Youth Alliance is also inviting youth and families to join Pictures with the Grinch on Wednesday\, November 25\, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Youth Impact Center in Hollister. Families are encouraged to bring a new\, large blanket donation and enjoy a fun holiday photo opportunity with the Grinch. \nYouth Alliance encourages residents to get involved by donating new blankets\, sharing the information with friends and family\, and inviting local businesses to support this blanket drive. Every contribution brings the organization one step closer to its goal of providing a new blanket to every youth it serves. \nHelp make a difference this holiday season! Community members can find donation drop-off locations and additional event information on our blanket drive flyer.
