Anzar High School presents
8th grade PARENT Orientation
Wednesday, February 8, 2017
Tour at 6 PM, sharp; Orientation program at 6:30 PM, Room 206
All 8th grade parents are welcome to attend! (The program is designed for parents, not students. Students will be invited to participate in two separate later events: an introduction day in the spring, and Link Crew/freshman orientation in the summer.)
Agenda: overview of school programs (Advisory program, service learning, athletics and clubs, etc.), academic and behavioral expectations, Anzar college-prep curriculum, and sample 9th grade schedules. A campus tour will be held at 6 PM sharp (before it’s completely dark out). The orientation will be run by several staff members and Anzar students, giving you an opportunity to meet several of your student’s future teachers. There will be time to ask questions after the program is over.
