California Crossroads Tour (Stop at VFW Hall in San Juan Bautista)

Sustainable Economic Development Within Our Central Coast Communities

The California Crossroads Tour stops at San Juan Bautista (VFW Hall, 58 Monterey St.) on Saturday, Jan 17 at 7pm.

This event will have three panel discussions featuring speakers from four counties (Monterey, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara and San Benito):
1) How Local Communities are Protecting Themselves From Fossil Fuel Extraction
2) Green Solutions: Local Solar & Wind Projects (Gonzales, Soledad, Santa Cruz & San Juan Bautista)
3) Sustainable Agriculture & Communities

Californian Crossroads Tour was launched by CAF (Californians Against Fracking). The other tour stops are San Diego, LA, Santa Barbara, Oakland.) Their Central Coast stop is San Juan Bautista. This free regional event is organized by San Benito Rising, and enables grassroots folks from several counties to network and share ideas.

This is an ideal educational event for high school students, college students and interested public.
