DESCRIPTION:Artwork by master teacher John Robrock’s students at San Benito High School 2001-2018. \nOn exhibit since January 15 at Luna Gallery and Eco Art Studio\, 107-B The Alameda\, San Juan Bautista\, Ca. \n50 artworks to be sold – either unclaimed/unsigned\, with unintelligible signatures\, or donated by the artists to the auction\, a benefit fundraiser for youth art classes at the Luna Gallery and Eco Art Studio. \nMr. Robrock\, MFA\, retired from San Benito High School (now Hollister High School) in 2018 after 17 years teaching there. Last year he found artworks in his archives that students forgot to take home and he has sought to reunite the students with their artwork.

Each car is crafted from a block of wood\, wheels\, and axles provided by the organizers\, allowing for boundless creativity and innovation. \nOnce completed\, the cars race down a specially designed track\, and the excitement is palpable as they zoom toward the finish line. \nWhy Participate?\n1. Support Local Scouting: Proceeds from the event will directly benefit San Benito County Scouts\,\nfunding programs\, camps\, and educational opportunities that foster leadership and teamwork in our youth.\n2. Team Building: This event is an excellent opportunity for local businesses to foster camaraderie among employees. Collaborating on a Pinewood Derby car encourages creativity and teamwork in a\nrelaxed setting.\n3. Community Engagement: Join fellow community members in a celebration of creativity and fun.
