"La Pastorela" vibrates with stirring action, vivid color, and robust humor set to glorious music and dance. One of the masterpieces of the centuries-old tradition, this story recounts the humble shepherd's trek to Bethlehem to adore the Christ Child. Along the way, they encounter evil forces that will stop at nothing to keep them from reaching the baby.
"La Pastorela" will be presented inside the El Teatro Campesino Playhouse.
