Hollister Hills State Vehicle Recreation Area invites you to start the New Year outside as part of the annual First Day Hikes initiative across America. First Day Hikes is a nationwide promotion of healthy lifestyles and year-round outdoor recreation through free guided hikes.

1 hour/1-2 mile loop (Pepper Tree Loop).

Dogs on leash are welcome. Please bring water, layered clothing, and hiking shoes.

Event is free; park entrance fee is $5 (bring cash).

Rain cancels event due to the unique adobe clay mud that makes up Mudstone Ranch, trails are closed during wet weather for public safety and natural resource protection.
