When the sun goes down at Pinnacles, a new side of the park emerges.
Join a ranger to explore what happens in the park after dark. The night hike will be a one-mile, 60-90 minute hike through relatively flat terrain. All visitors should bring a flashlight. Red flashlights or headlamps are preferred, but red cellophane will be provided for those with regular lights. Visitors should also bring water. Temperatures drop significantly in the park after dark, so dress warmly in layers, and wear comfortable shoes. All children must be accompanied by an adult and be able to walk the entire distance.
Hikes are limited to 25 participants, with no more than 6 per group. Registration is required. Visit the Pinnacles National Park Foundation website to signup.
