Join guest speaker Beverly Vanderweide from the Henry W. Coe State Park Volunteer Mounted Patrol and learn how to prepare for a trail ride on a multi-use trail (trail etiquette and trail conservation), best riding seasons for a horse trail ride, rules and guidelines for equestrians, and what you will need to bring for your horse for a trail ride for care of the horse (horse and rider safety and preparedness). More information about the California State Parks mounted horse patrol program and any additional information you would like to add about horse safety on the trail
