DESCRIPTION:The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training is a program designed to prepare San Benito County residents to help themselves\, their families\, and neighbors\, in the event of a disaster. The training covers basic skills that are important to know in a disaster when emergency services are not available. The cost is $25 for adults and $10 for children. All members of the public are invited.  The BBQ lunch\, provided by Hollister Rotary\, will be served from 12:30-1:30 p.m. only. It will include Tri Tip\, chuck wagon beans\, tossed salad\, bread and drink for adults and hot dog\, chips\, and a drink for children. In addition to the auction\, there will be a raffle\, children’s activities\, and live entertainment. Come out and join us for some fun while we raise money to support the children in our care!

DESCRIPTION:Spot-On Dog Training and Obedience in partnership with pet friends will be holding a low cost 6 week obedience clinic starting June 20 at 10 a.m. located at the Pet Friends shelter. As a part of our community our dogs fill a constant roll in our lives. We are offering training at a seriously discounted rate in hopes to provide all families the opportunity to create a wonderful working bond and well mannered canine community members. This is part of our forever dogs program.
