Then don’t miss the San Benito County “Building Business” Community Job Fair on Thursday\, October 20th from 4:00PM-7:00PM at the Veterans Memorial Building 649 San Benito Street in downtown Hollister. \n“America’s Job Center of California is your one-stop shop for workforce services\, like this Job Fair\, for employers and job seekers alike\,” said San Benito County Employment & Training Services Counselor\, Megan Crable. “If you have job openings\, our staff can assist you at this event by receiving applications so that you can focus on promoting your company and talking to potential employees at your booth during the event.” \nThis event will host more than 23 employers and agencies promoting their job openings and career opportunities in a variety of fields. Local employers are scheduled to attend and job seekers will have the opportunity to meet employers from all industries. Veterans and military spouses are also encouraged to attend. Veterans with Military ID have the option to participate in the job fair in a special\, Veterans only session from 3pm-4pm.  \nThe San Benito County America’s Job Center will have staff members on hand at the event to provide resume\, application and on-site interview assistance. Applicants are asked to come prepared\, professionally “dressed for success” and to bring copies of their resume complete with their latest contact information. \nAssistance for job seekers is also being provided in advance of the event 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday at the Job Center located at 1111 San Felipe Road\, Suite 107 in Hollister. Employment readiness workshops are also held at the Center from 8:30AM to Noon every Tuesday and Friday. \nThe event is sponsored by Pacific Scientific\, Teknova\, Plumbers\, Steamfitters & Refrigeration Fitters Local Union 393 and Infinity Staffing. Businesses are currently still being recruited to sponsor and participate in the event. Volunteers will assist with our annual clean wheeling trash pick-up in the Upper Ranch.  The park will also provide a separate volunteer project for the public who aren’t able to drive a 4×4 vehicle.  Please meet at the Hollister Hills Area 5 at 8am to register for the event. He has gone around the country helping\nproducers on rangelands\, pastures\, feedlots and dairies to solve their handling difficulties. Steve wrote the book\, Stockmanship\, which is the only book in the world on the subject of low stress livestock handling for grazing lands management. DESCRIPTION:Over 50 California and out-of-state colleges to attend! \nSouth County Cal-SOAP (SCCC) invites students of all ages and their parents to its 12th annual college fair\, to be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday\, Oct. 27 at the San Benito High School Mattson Gym and Thursday\, Nov. 3 at the Gilroy High School Student Center. \n“This is one of the ways Cal-SOAP can reach all students and parents in the four different districts that participate in the SCCC Consortium. SCCC welcomes students and parents from all over the South County region\, and especially families from the Aromas-San Juan\, Gilroy\, Hollister and Morgan Hill School Districts for this exciting event!  The college fairs are scheduled between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. in order to accommodate parents’ working schedules…your entire family is welcome!” stated Erin C.
