In-person registration\, check-in and bib pickup begins at 7:15 am on January 25th. \n  \nNow in its 37th year\, the Mission 10 Race is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hollister and raises funds for community service programs and college scholarships. Runners and walkers of all ages from near and far will come together at the Mission Plaza lawn to train for upcoming races\, beat personal records\, or just for fun. The event brings a lot of families and friends together for an energetic and exciting time.  Participants are encouraged to dress up in groups and sign-up for the Theme Team Competition at the race’s Information Booth. The top theme teams will be awarded trophies. DESCRIPTION:The San Benito County Opioid Task Force invites the community to their town hall on February 8 to increase awareness of opioid abuse in the county. During the event\, a small panel of speakers including Assembly-member Robert Rivas\, physicians from Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital\, Treatment Providers\, San Benito County Behavioral Health\, First Responders\, and a few community members who have been impacted will discuss the issue as it pertains to San Benito County. \nThere will also be information booths\, free Narcan and training\, free medication locking bags\, free medication free disposal envelopes and free sharps containers. \nWhere: Veterans’ Memorial Building \nWhen: February 8 \nTime: 10 a.m. to Noon.
