SUMMARY:Kids SJB Summer Enrichment Camp
DESCRIPTION:The 2015 SJB Summer Enrichment Camp revives a summer program that ran during the years 2000 – 2005. The San Juan Bautista and Aromas area have few affordable summer programs for youth. For example\, 78 percent of SJB youth qualify for the free or reduced lunch program\, so we have set a sliding scale fee ($20\, $30 or $40) that maximizes our program's access to families. Our program is funded by donations from local businesses and individuals. Friday night seats are $7. Saturday and Sunday seats are $10. Babes in arms are free; toddlers to 11 years old are $4. Tickets can be obtained in advance by completing the attached form and mailing it\, with a check payable to the S.B.C. Saddle Horse Association and indicating the desired seat location\, to P. O. Box 56\, Hollister\, CA 95024. You can also call the office\, (831) 628-3545\, to reserve seats or to pay by credit card. All ticket sales are final. General Admission ticket sales start May 25. Tickets can also be purchased at Rancher’s Feed and at Bolado Park. The cost is $25 for adults and $10 for children. All members of the public are invited.  The BBQ lunch\, provided by Hollister Rotary\, will be served from 12:30-1:30 p.m. only. It will include Tri Tip\, chuck wagon beans\, tossed salad\, bread and drink for adults and hot dog\, chips\, and a drink for children. In addition to the auction\, there will be a raffle\, children’s activities\, and live entertainment. Come out and join us for some fun while we raise money to support the children in our care!

DESCRIPTION:The Mexican-American Committee on Education (MACE) of San Benito County wishes to invite the community to the 45th annual Cinco de Mayo Scholarship Dinner & Dance. The event is scheduled on Saturday\, May 2 at the Elks Lodge located at 351 Astro Drive in Hollister.     \nMACE\, through proceeds from the annual Cinco de Mayo Scholarship Banquet\, is able to award scholarships to graduating high school seniors from San Benito County. MACE attributes its success to community members and corporate sponsors who support the annual scholarship banquet. Since its formation in 1970\, MACE has raised over $400\,000 and granted scholarships to over 500 students. Many scholarship recipients are very successful today in their careers and education – attending several of colleges and universities throughout the United States.
