SUMMARY:Hollister Haunter: "Miner's Revenge"
DESCRIPTION:Family-owned Scare Company Productions turns 15 years of Bay Area haunting into an original walk-through maze at Bolado Park. Tickets are $20\, parking is free. \nThis October\, my family-owned company\, Scare Company Productions\, is bringing the San Benito County Fairgrounds its first-ever haunted attraction. Miner’s Revenge runs select nights through October at the Bolado Park Event Center. General admission is $20\, with free parking and no surge pricing. \nThe Story Guests Walk Into: \nWhen you walk into Miner’s Revenge\, you’re boarding a mine lift for a tour of the Last Ditch Mining Co. The lift fails and drops you deep below the surface\, past the last lantern. The only way out is forward\, through collapsing tunnels\, mutated creatures\, swarming insects and the remains of a crew buried alive. \nYou’re not just watching the nightmare unfold. You’re part of it. I set out to build a classic haunted maze that blends immersive storytelling\, cutting-edge technology\, and handcrafted effects all right here in San Benito County. \nKids Days \nI want younger fans to enjoy the haunted house too. On October 24 and 31\, our Kids Days open the maze for $15 with the lights on\, the audio turned down\, the main props off and no scare actors. Families can explore the sets and the story without the frights. \nEvent Details: \nWhat: Miner’s Revenge\, a walk-through immersive haunted maze \nWhere: Bolado Park Event Center\, Art & Photography Building\, 9000 Airline Highway\, Tres Pinos\, CA 95075 (enter at Gate 2) \nWhen: Select nights\, October 16 through November 1\, 7 to 10 p.m. \nTickets: $20 general admission at scarecompany.com/tickets; no surge pricing \nKids Days: October 24 and 31\, $15: lights on\, low audio\, main props off\, no scare actors — 5:30 to 6 p.m. \nParking: Free \nAge advisory: Regular nights are not recommended for children 13 and under. Kids Days welcome young children and anyone who wants the show without the scares. \nWaiver: All guests sign a liability waiver\, online in advance or at the gate \n

SUMMARY:Freaky Friday presented by San Benito Stage Company
DESCRIPTION:Freaky Friday is a hilarious\, heartfelt\, and family-friendly musical based on Mary Rodgers’ classic novel and the beloved Disney films. \nThe story follows Ellie Blake\, played by Serenity Welch\, a teenage girl\, and her overworked mother\, Katherine\, played by Naomi Mejia\, who don’t exactly see eye to eye. But on the day before Katherine’s wedding\, something unbelievable happens — they magically swap bodies! \nForced to spend a day in each other’s shoes\, mother and daughter experience firsthand the challenges\, pressures\, and frustrations the other faces. What follows is a funny and touching adventure filled with misunderstandings\, surprises\, great music\, and ultimately a new appreciation for each other. \nCome out and enjoy a great family night with San Benito Stage Company at the Granada Theatre!
