LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens) Council #2890 will host the 22nd Annual Women's Reception, Friday, Aug. 26 at Paine's Banquet Room. Reception includes dinner and live entertainment by Lupe Castaneda and Lupe Solano. Reception is held to honor local women.
Tribute will be paid to Mary Ann Barragan and Krystal Lomanto.
Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez will be present.
A silent auction will be held. Proceeds to benefit collegiate students from San Benito County. Tickets are $40.
