Marketing livestock and other ranch products

This workshop will help you determine what  market is best for the ranch: direct to restaurants, retail stores or customers through a CSA or farmer’s market. Understanding the expectations of wholesale distributors or brokers is essential for success in those markets. This workshop will provide insight into these highly competitive outlets. Determining what is the best strategy for value added products based on the capacity of your infrastructure or access to community infrastructure. Being creative with presentations to be best appreciated by the market requires understanding who your customers are and is key to profitable marketing. Learning negotiating skills as a supplier comes by believing they need YOU as much as you want them, here is an opportunity to hone those essential skills.
