San Benito Rising @ Board of Supervisors Meeting Tuesday February 23

When citizens of our county proposed a ban on fracking and other high risk oil drilling methods, many said that if we did so, the oil industry would sue and bankrupt the county. Well the people did pass it and we did not go bankrupt. San Benito Rising presents the Board of Supervisors with a check in the amount of $684. to cover the entire legal expenses the county incurred to defend Measure J.
