The Veterans Day, honoring veterans of all wars in which the United States of America was involved, was formerly called Armistice Day.  The ceremony at Post 6359 recalls the armistice ending the hostilities of World War I on the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.
