VFW Post 9242 and the VFW Auxiliary are presenting their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20 at Veterans Memorial Park.
This year the VFW is adding a new egg hunt in the morning at 10:30 a.m. for special needs children that have physical, developmental or sensory impaired challenges. There will be two age groups for this hunt. 2 – 6 year olds and 7 – 10 year olds. All children will receive a prize after the hunt. Each child is welcomed to have a parent or buddy help them during the egg hunt.
All other children are invited for the annual egg hunt at 1:00 p.m.
There will be three age groups for the hunt:
2-4 years old
5-7 years old
8-10 years old
There will be some special eggs in the hunting area that can be redeemed for prizes.
Only parents of the 2-4 year olds will be allowed in the hunt area.
Children that do not find any eggs will be able to get some from the Command Post.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to get your child in line. The hunt begins promptly at 1:00 p.m.
