Partnership for Children is proud to announce it has received a grant in the amount of $10,000 from the Community Foundation for San Benito County to increase access to medical care for children living with serious illnesses in San Benito County and to support their families.

“The Community Foundation for San Benito County is very pleased to support you in this endeavor and we hope you achieve all your goals and expectations for this project,” wrote Salina Chacon, grants and projects manager with the foundation. “Thank you for your efforts in making San Benito County a better place to live!”

Partnership for Children is an independent nonprofit organization focused on increasing access to care for kids with life-threatening conditions and supporting their families with rides and financial help.

Children with cancer and other life-threatening conditions and their families have a difficult enough time with day-to-day activities without having to struggle with how to get to a hospital or doctor’s appointment to get their necessary care. Partnership for Children steps in to offer them free rides to and from their hospital or doctor, or if families can use their own vehicle, the nonprofit provides financial assistance to pay for gas.
