Monday evening, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. the Hollister City Council will convene in the council chambers 375 Fifth Street in Hollister.
Issues slated for discussion include resolutions for a number of temporary street closures. On May 26, a portion of Seventh Street will be temporarily closed for the Veterans Annual Memorial Day motorcycle run. On June 27, various streets will be temporarily closed for the Annual Horse Show Parade and the Fiesta Block Party. On July 5 and 6, various downtown streets will be closed for the 2013 Hollister Motorcycle Rally.
The City Council will review the Annual 2012 General Plan Progress Report and adopt the proposed resolution accepting the report. Oral reports include a proposal to provide fire services to the County of San Benito and the City of San Juan Bautista. The Council will also discuss renaming Highway 25 (Bolsa and Airline Highway) to Pinnacles National Park Highway.
