Recruitment is for one Full Time Position – Career opportunity for self-motivated individual who can
perform a variety of professional civil engineering work in the operation, design, construction, maintenance, repair of structures and facilities for the District’s water supply and water distribution activities, including technical support for operation and maintenance activities. This individual will be responsible for water resource and water supply evaluations and assessments, water treatment/transmission/distribution systems, and planning for development of future supplies. This is an Emergency Response position which requires oversight of on-call issues on a rotation basis.


All positions require a Valid California Drivers’ License.

Requirements are as follows:

Required: Bachelor of Science Degree in civil, agricultural, or environmental Engineering or related
field; Possession of CA Professional Engineer (P.E.) Certificate; 4 years of increasingly professional
work experience in civil or agricultural engineering in the areas of water systems, pipelines, pumping
stations, canals, irrigation, and groundwater.

Desired: Knowledge of GIS Software Arcview, Construction Project Planning & Management, Water
Resource Planning, CEQA and NEPA.
