Passed Away On: August 29, 2021
Alfred passed away on August 29, 2021 in his home at age 83.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Sanchez, Maria Luisa Bravo Espinoza (Mother), and Anthony Bravo (brother). He is survived by his younger brother Bill Bravo. His son’s Michael and Alfred Jr. (Martha Sanchez) and grandchildren Michelle, Alfred Jr., Tony, Jered and Mayela. As well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Alfred was born in Mexico City and came to Hollister as a child. He married (Elsie Felice) then relocated to Santa Clara in 1964. He retired from Hewlett Packard where he worked with his Uncle Robert.
Alfred and Elsie loved to travel, they toured Europe twice. They especially loved the cruise ships and visited the Caribbean and Alaska. He collected coins from the places he visited and was a stamp collector. He kept in touch and visited family and friends in Mexico and Los Angeles.
Alfred was loved by many. He had a second family at Jóvenes de Antaño during the week, where he called bingo. Alfred enjoyed socializing with friends, buffets, and going to the casino with Marlene (Jóvenes).
A mass will be held on Friday, September 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. A reception to follow at Vets Memorial Park in Hollister at 12:30 p.m.
