Ana Maria Alfaro a Hollister resident, passed away Saturday, July 20, in Salinas, California at the age of 65. She was born in Gomez Palacios, Durango México. Ana Maria lived in Hollister for the last 22 years but was raised in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua México.
She is survived by her four children: Maribel, Moraima, Manuel and Melissa. She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Johnathan, Sergio, Lizette, Yanira, Nathaniel and Daleyza and two great grandchildren: Leiana and Vianette.
Ana also survived by her brother Juan Alfaro and many nieces and nephews.
Ana lived her life caring for others as a daycare provider and being a loving all around motherly figure to all those who crossed her path. You would have known her as the lady who embraced anyone especially those in need providing them with food, shelter and unconditional love. She could be heard and seen with her great smile from across any room as she greeted anyone and everyone. She was one to embrace any neighbor, friend of a friend and made all those friends into family. This genuinely giving woman loved enjoying good food with great company, visiting her family and going back to where she was raised to visit many loved ones. Despite many years of battling her illness she was a true example to us all as she fought with all her strength and faith to make the family stronger and more united.
Ana was a loving and supportive mother, grandmother, and aunt she adored and enjoyed every moment with her family, especially her grandchildren.
