Carlos Ramos Hurtado, age 86, of Turlock, California passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Carlos was born December 3, 1935 in Michoacan, Mexico to Elvira (Ramos) Hurtado and Benjamin Hurtado.
Carlos is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elva Hurtado of Turloc; his son Juan Carlos Hurtado (Suzy) of Turlock, California; his daughter Laura H. Gonzales (Tom) of Galt, California; his daughter Marielva Chavez (Ralph) of Hollister, California; and his daughter Grissol Wall (Chris) of Gilroy, California; his brother Benjamin Hurtado (Rita) of Michoacan, Mexico, his brother Aureliano Hurtado (Eva) of Hollister, his brother Jesus Hurtado (Maria) of Indio, California, his brother Alfonso Hurtado of Indio, his brother Isidro Hurtado (Aurelia) of Hollister, his brother Antonio Hurtado (Consuelo) of Hollister, his sister Maria Castaneda of Michoacan and his sister Rosa Elvira of Elk Grove, California. Carlos also leaves behind eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Carlos was preceded in death by his father Benjamin Hurtado and his mother Elvira (Ramos) Hurtado; his sister Socorro Garrido.
A visitation for Carlos will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, California. A combination rosary and funeral mass will occur Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Parish, 7820 Fox Road Hughson, California. The committal service follows immediately at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 North Soderquist Road, Turlock.
Serving as pallbearers are Juan Carlos Hurtado, Tom Gonzales, Alex Gonzales, Ralph Chavez, Christian Chavez and Alvaro Avendano.
