Celia Villarreal 93, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2023. Born on January 13, 1930, in Los Angeles, CA, Celia was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and cherished friend. Celia moved to Laguna Grande, Zacatecas when she was young and grew up over there but later returned to live in Hollister, CA, started her family and raised her 6 children here. At a young age she worked in the fields but after, she dedicated her life to being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She was a hardworking woman who never gave up and always worked hard for what her family needed.
Celia loved spending time gardening and with her animals. She also loved to crochet and spend time with family and friends or talk on the phone with family and friends that did not live near her. Those who knew her know that she was the most selfless and kind hearted person. She always worried about everyone but herself, even until the very end.
Celia was preceded in death by her father (Placido Villarreal), mother (Blasa Delanda), husband (Isidoro Villarreal), daughter (Irma Villarreal), daughter in law (Esmeralda Cisneros), son in law (Refugio Cabral), and sisters (Consuelo Espinoza & Piedad Villarreal).
She is survived by her sons, daughters, and their spouses, Fernando Villarreal, Blasa Villarreal, Reynaldo (Esther) Villarreal, Antonio Ramirez, Antonia (Eliceo) Rios, Isidoro Villarreal, many grand children, great grand children, and nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed by her children, grand children, and all who knew her.
