NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the San Benito County Council of Governments Board of Directors will conduct public hearings on the recommended 2021/2022 fiscal year Council of Governments Budget, Local Transportation Authority Budget and Service Authority for Freeways and Expressways Budget on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard).
Said public hearings will be held via Zoom. For meeting details please visit www.sanbenitocog.org.
On the date, time and location stated above, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Council will conduct a public hearing on the recommended budgets. At the public hearing, the Council will tentatively approve or adopt the final budgets that will serve as the financial plan for the Council of Governments, Local Transportation Authority and Service Authority for Freeways and Expressways for fiscal year ending June 30, 2022.
Any member of the public may appear at the hearings noted above and be heard regarding any item in the recommended budgets or for the inclusion of additional items. All proposals for revisions shall be submitted in writing to the Council of Governments Secretary before the close of the public hearings.
The recommended budget documents are available to members of the public. Pursuant to Government Code Section 29065, et. seq., the recommended 2021/2022 fiscal year budget will be available for viewing on the San Benito County Council of Governments website at www.sanbenitocog.org.
