Passed Away On: May 18, 2021
Cruz fell asleep in death on May 18, 2021 after a long battle of declining health.
She is preceded in death by her mother Adeline, brother Jose (Chilo) and her son Timothy.
She is also survived by her children: Regina (Wayne) Straley, Gabriel, Robert, Samuel (Bridgette), Rachel and Caroline Castillo. Her grandchildren: Ashley, Kyle, Marissa, Alexander, Mathias, Aaliyah, Timothy, Renee and Jimmy. Her greatgrandchildren: Timarah, JJ, and Esiah. Sisters Margie Garcia, Cecelia Alfaro (Chila), and brother Tony Monroy, and by her extended family including numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a Jehovah’s Witness since 1964 and was a loving faithful sister till her death. She believed in a hope of everlasting pain free perfect life and being reunited with those she lost in death.
She was known as a very good cook. She did attend junior college and got her AA and specialized in a medical training while raising numerous children and grand children.
Mom was dearly loved by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and those in the congregation and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Services will be on Saturday May 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home with burial to follow at the I.O.O.F Cemetery.
