Passed Away On: January 31, 2022

On Monday, January 31, 2022, Eufemio Mendoza, loving husband and father of five adult children, passed away at the age of 63.

Eufemio was born on June 30,1958 in Lima, Peru. He moved to California at the age of 15 and established his life in the Bay Area. An entrepreneur, business developer, and pastor, Eufemio, had a passion to be an influential leader to others and make a difference in the world he lived. He married Brenda Mendoza and together raised five children who have given him ten grandchildren.

Eufemio had a passion for his family, learning, reading, traveling, mission trips, and loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. He always showed kindness, encouraged people not to settle for the status quo, but inspired people to push to achieve their dreams. His favorite quote was “Do Whatever It Takes”. He never ceased to share of his faith in Christ and always included his faith in all decisions he made. He had an infectious smile, a compassionate spirit, and was incredibly proud of all his adult children. The love he demonstrated to his wife of 40 years, was like no other, as he continuously referred to her as his bride, his queen (Mi Reina), or his honey. As a family man, Eufemio enjoyed living in Hollister as he was close to his mom, sister, and his brother, who would visit from time to time. He called his relationship with them the “Incredible Four”, because they were/are incredible. His favorite scripture is Matthew 6:33.
