Georgia Contival passed away peacefully on December 8, 2017. She was born in Hollister on March 27, 1919 and attended local schools. She and her husband worked a family ranch in the Cienega Valley. In addition to ranching she worked at Guerra Nut Shelling Company for 16 years.
Georgia was preceded in death by her son, Stephen in 1970, her husband of 53 years, Alexander, in 1990 and her second husband, Manny Rapoza in 2003.
She is survived by her son, Allen and daughter in law, Nancy, her grandchildren, Scott (Anna) and Brian (Nicola) and her great grandchildren, Ian, Caleb, Ella and Mia Contival.
As per her request, there will be a private graveside service.
