Gertrude B .Edvenson
Born August 4, 1930 in Webster city Iowa.
She moved to California with her sister Thelma in 1947.
She then married her husband Richard in Redwood City California.
In 1948 she had daughter Linda.
In 1950 Clyde was born.

Gertrude was involved in many community events and charities. She was a leader in a Brownie troop and a Girl Scout troop. There was not a play school event or sporting event that she and Richard ever missed if it involved her children.
Gertrude was a master bridge player and played in Linda King‘s group. That was her passion and love for many years.

The greatest passion that mom ever had was her grandson Jake. She helped raised Jake and was there for every piano lesson, performance, school event or play. He was her pride and joy.
Mom truly loved her family and community. For her it was God family and community that she loved greatly. Mom loved Hollister very much and all the people in it. She felt she had a very nice life in this community.

Gertrude is survived by her daughter Linda & husband Ron Klauer. Her son Clyde & wife Diane Edvenson, sister LaVaonne Cibert & Tom, brother Franklin & wife Barbara. Also are grandkids Jake Edvenson & Caitlyn, Ryan Trembly,
Jennifer & Tanner Dietrich & children, Lindsey & Brandon Trembly.
Gertrude is also survived by many
Cousins, nieces & nephews in California, Washington, Minnesota,
Iowa & Texas.
Donations are preferred to Bridge Hospice c/o Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.
