Born to this life on February 12, 1951
Entered Eternal Life with Our Heavenly Father on August 17, 2022, Born in Hollister, California A longtime resident of the Bay Area. Loving father to Brandon and Kevin (Jessica). Cherished brother to Bob (Jolene), Molly (Raul), Helen, (Joe) and Sister-in-Laws, Wilma Cosio and Ida Cosio. Much loved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and an adoring supportive husband to Roselyn.
Preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Sr. and Hortencia Cosio Vargas, brothers, Pedro Jr., Adolph, Gilbert, Richard, Joseph and sisters, Marian and Sally.
After a courageous battle with several illnesses, he has joined our Heavenly Father. He was always surrounded by his large loving family. He was influenced and inspired by his family to be a loving and caring man. Always giving his time to others and he incorporated that into fatherhood, being a loving husband and a good friend to his many friends.
He played as a professional drummer in a jazz band for 15 years. Bringing beautiful music to other ears. A former member of Luis Valdez’s Teatro Campesina, he spent 1981 and 1982 touring college campuses and Europe with the company, before entering the University of California Santa Cruz, where he earned his B.A. in economics. He earned a master’s degree in Business Administration of Management, University of San Francisco and a graduate degree from Hasting College of Law. He started his career as an associate at Crosby, Heafy, Roach and May. A Law Firm with offices in San Francisco, Oakland and Los Angeles. He practiced law for 31 years serving his community.
He found passion as an avid San Francisco Giants fan. Earlier in life, he and Roselyn attended many San Francisco Giants games nationwide never missing a game or training day. He also rooted loudly for the 49ers and Warriors.
