Passed Away On: November 28, 2021

Javier Lucero Parra beloved father, husband and brother passed on November 23rd, 2021, at the age of 68 years old in his home with his loving wife Clara and daughter Cassandra Parra at his side.
Javier was born in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico to parents Roberto and Enedina Parra on January 13, 1953, and was the fifth born of eleven children. He was a kind, loving, generous and funny man with an infectious smile and always ready to share a joke. After leaving high school he attended schooling for truck driving in Indianapolis, Indiana and it became his career. He had a passion for classic cars and barbecuing and eating hot dogs. He enjoyed listening to country western and mariachi music. He enjoyed spending time with his big family, like with his nephew Rick, showing him how to make his famous chile con queso recipe. He especially loved being with his grandson Javier Alexander Parra and teaching him new jokes and sneaking their dog Lola snacks.
He is predeceased by his parents Roberto and Enedina L. Parra; brother Raul Antonio Parra; and nephew Freddie Salinas.
He is survived by his wife of more than 40 years Clara Parra, sons Mando (Dina – daughter in law) and Estevan, daughter Cassandra (who was at his side attending to him with love and care) and grandchildren Javier Alexander, Liliana, Anthony, Luke, and Nicholas. Siblings; Roberto Parra, Emma De La Rosa, Joe Parra, Art Parra, Elida Vasquez, Enedina Parra, Celsa Parra, Alicia Parra, Ruben Parra and numerous nephews and nieces.

Javier Lucero Parra amado padre, esposo y hermano falleció el 23 de noviembre de 2021 a la edad de 68 años en su casa con su amada esposa Clara y su hija Cassandra Parra a su lado.
Javier nació en Ciudad Juárez, México, de padres Roberto y Enedina Parra el 13 de enero de 1953, y fue el quinto nacido de once hijos. Era un hombre amable, cariñoso, generoso y divertido con una sonrisa contagiosa y siempre dispuesto a compartir una broma. Después de dejar la escuela secundaria, asistió a la escuela para manejar “semi trucks” en Indianápolis, Indiana y se convirtió en su carrera. Le apasionaban los carros clásicos, hacer barbacoas y comer salchichas. Disfrutaba escuchando música country western y mariachi. Disfrutó pasar tiempo con su gran familia, como con su sobrino Rick, mostrándole cómo hacer su famosa receta de chile con queso. Le encantaba especialmente estar con su nieto Javier Alexander Parra y enseñándole nuevos chistes y dándole a escondidas los bocadillos de su perrita Lola.
Le sobreviven su esposa de más de 40 años Clara Parra, sus hijos Mando (Dina – nuera) y Estevan, su hija Cassandra (que estaba a su lado atendiéndolo con tanto amor y cariño) y sus nietos Javier Alexander, Liliana, Anthony, Luke y Nicholas. Hermanos/a; Roberto Parra, Emma De La Rosa, Joe Parra, Art Parra, Elida Vasquez, Enedina Parra, Celsa Parra, Alicia Parra, Ruben Parra y numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas.
Por tanto, ahora ustedes tienen también aflicciones; pero Yo los veré otra vez, y su corazón se alegrará, y nadie les quitará su gozo. Juan 16:22
