Passed Away On: June 10, 2022
Jose (Moses) Peña passed away peacefully on Friday, June 10, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones. Jose was always willing to help others and you could always count on him. He was a lifelong resident of Hollister. His livelihood of over 50 years was in the agricultural industry, mostly mechanical work. He had a passion for tinkering on his gadgets in the garage, but you could always find him scratching away on a lottery ticket. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his daughter Lisa Peña-Johnson (Pat), Joey Peña, and Andrew Peña; his siblings Panfilo Peña, Alex Peña, Sylvia Peña, Daniel Peña, and Bertha Peña; his grandchildren David Aguirre (Ashley), Carly Johnson, and Makayla Johnson; and great grandchildren Kynlee & Jaxson Aguirre. He is preceded in death by his wife Manuela San Roman- Peña, his siblings Ismiel Peña and Isabel Lopez (Peña), and his parents Panfilo & Petra Peña.
