Joseph Anthony Frusetta
May 5, 1944 to October 26, 2022

Joseph Anthony Frusetta was born on May 5, 1944 in Gilroy, California. He was the child of Evelyn and Joseph M Frusetta of Hollister, California. He entered into rest on October 26, 2022 at the age of 78 after a long illness of lung disease.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Evelyn, his adopted aunt and uncle George and Mary Medeiros and his adopted grandparents Clyde and Inez Smith.

Joe married Suzanne Winkle in May 1963 and they had one child together, John Anthony Frusetta of Chowchilla, California.

In August of 1972 Joe married Jacquelin Mazzola, his wife of 50 years. Two children were born
of this marriage, Stormi Lynn Frusetta and Beau Anthony Frusetta. The family moved to Phoenix, Arizona in December of 1985. The remaining members of the family, their spouses plus 6 grandchildren still live in the Valley of the Sun. Joe was blessed with 8 grandchildren who he loved without measure. He also left his shih tzu dog “Baby” who has been his faithful friend for 14 years.

Joe is survived by his sister Sharon Hopingardner of Red Bluff.

Joe loved growing up in San Benito County and has left many good friends who still reside there.
He was a cowboy in his younger years excelling at Steer Wrestling and Saddle Bronc riding. Joe was a truck driver for many years, had a small trucking company, was a special events caterer and a Realtor in the Phoenix area. He will be sorely missed by his family and the abundance of friends that he loved.

Celebration of Life for Joe will be on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11 a.m.  at Sun Valley Community Church, 6101 S River Dr, Tempe, Arizona 85283.
