Juanita De Vincenzi
Born 6-25-1934 Died 6-21-2023 age 88
“Nita” was born in San Juan Bautista to Refugio and Irene Echeverria and lived in SJB until she and her Husband Robert moved to Hollister in 1965.
She and Robert were married at Mission San Juan Bautista July 21, 1957, and were married 63 years until his death.
She and Robert had 4 children. She worked food service at Frosty Cone and many years at K & S Market as the Deli Manager.
She enjoyed her family, gardens, reading, puzzles, her prayer groups, and all of her neighbors.
A devout Catholic, she was an active Member of Sacred Heart Church, Saint Benedict, and her final years at Immaculate Conception in Tres Pinos.
Nita was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, brothers Bud and Billy, son Robert, son Joseph (infant), favorite Aunts Fannie, Rose and Hazel, and great granddaughter Emilee.
She is survived by sister Soonie, brothers Ramon and Eddie, daughter Carolyn Kittrell (Steve), son Joseph (Shawna), grandchildren Krystal, Steven, Gianno, Leah, and great granddaughter Harlow, Ava, Sara, nieces Kathy and Michelle San Ramon, plus many other nieces and nephews.
Cremation and Interment will be at the San Juan Bautista Cemetary, date TDB.
A Mass will be said for her and Robert at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Community Church, 7290 Airline Hwy, Tres Pinos on July 21 at 11 a.m., followed by Celebration of Life BBQ at the church hall. All friends and family are invited.
She was well loved by everyone that knew her.
The family would like to thank all of her friends and neighbors who were a special part of her life for the past 89 years.
The family asks, in lieu of flowers, for donations to be made to the Emilee Daves Memorial Scholarship Fund, supporting Hollister High School students.
