July 28, 1977 – July 17, 2023

Our beloved Lenita gained her wings on Monday, July 17th, 2023 at the age of 45. She was born in Gilroy, California on July 28th, 1977. She most recently resided in Hollister, California, and worked for NOVO Construction Inc. She previously worked for Main Street Dental, DMI Insurance, and Mikasa Outlet.

Lenita is survived by her parents, Patsy & Curt VanNoy, and Paul Garcia. Her sisters and their spouses, Lorie & Robert Galvan, and Lisa & Aaron Angulo. Her boys Matthew and William Yruegas. Her nephews, nieces, and their spouses, Bobby & Raelene Galvan, Anissa & Matt Buzzetta, Brianna DeLeon, Isaac DeLeon, Sammy DeLeon, and Jasmine DeLeon. Her godchildren, Marcus and Erin Angulo. Her great-nieces, Mila & Kyah Galvan, Avarie, Rylee, & Emma Buzzetta. Her boyfriend Edgar Polanco. Her precious dogs, Lexi and Layla. As well as many other beloved family and friends. She was preceded in death by her nephew, P.J. Galvan.

Lenita was a loving, loyal, and funny soul while also being the happiest yet grouchiest person you’d ever meet. She was a fierce friend who was always there if you needed her, and was always real. Incredibly funny without even trying, Lenita had a laugh that was infectious. Friends was her absolute favorite TV show and anytime it was brought up, it always made her laugh. Her favorite quote from the show was “Joey doesn’t share food!”. She loved music and was the perfect person to go to a concert with. She was a huge sports fan, with the Raiders and Giants being her two favorite teams. She also loved softball and never missed an opportunity to go to a game whether it was to see friends or family. She loved all animals, but dogs most of all. She would have loved to have her own shelter to save as many dogs as possible. She loved water and was never without her always-filled ice-cold, jug. Most of all, Lenita loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed, but the memories and love she left will live on forever.
