Passed Away On: June 1, 2021
Manuel Arturo De La Cruz Jr. at 46 years old has peacefully gone to the presence of the Lord on June 1, 2021 at his home in Hollister, California with his wife, children and family by his side.
Manuel was born in Hollister, California on November 23, 1974 to his late father, Manuel Arturo De La Cruz Sr. and Elvira Benavides. He was the oldest of 5 children. He married his wife Kenia on August 8, 2015 and was blessed with 4 wonderful children; Raul Manuel (23), Jacob (20), Monique (19) and Issac (4). Manuel was a loving and devoted father. He enjoyed fishing with his children and nephews. He worked as a commercial painter for over 20 years. He was also an avid Raiders fan.
Manuel is survived by his wife Kenia Sedano; his mother Elvira Benevides De La Cruz; children: Raul Manuel, Jacob, Monique and Issac; siblings: Maria Elvira, Alejandro, Jaime and Armando; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended relatives.
Visitation will be at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito Street, Hollister on Thursday, June 10 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
On Friday, June 11, family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholice Church for a Mass of the Resurrection. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
