Margaret Ann Rodriguez

Passed Away On: February 3, 2022

Margaret Ann “Quintero” Rodriguez was born in Hollister, California on March 19, 1943. She entered Heaven’s gates in San Jose, California. on February 3, 2022.

Margaret was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece and friend. She was born to Jesus and Josephine Quintero. After graduating from San Benito High School. Margaret for many years, worked side by side with her mom in the kitchen preparing food for the family business, Jesus L. Quintero, Inc. Margaret moved to Orange Cove, Ca. with her loving husband, Marcos Rodriguez. She then went on to work as a Seamstress for Levi Strauss & Co. for 20 years. Margaret eventually moved back to Hollister when she lost her beloved husband.

Margaret was an active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She had an unwavering faith in God. For many years, Margaret loved accompanying her sisters in Christ, ministering to the sick and homebound.

Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband of many years, Marcos Rodriguez.  She was also predeceased by her sister Carmen Casarez, brother David Quintero and parents Jesus and Josephine Quintero. Margaret is survived by her daughter Regina Ortiz, sons Jesse and Manuel Ortiz. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jesse Ortiz, Vanessa Ortiz, Beatrice Ortiz, Jessica Sanchez, Michaela Rodarte, Carmen Rodarte, Darius Ortiz, Davina Gonzalez, Monique Ortiz and leaves several great-grandchildren.

Her niece, Beatrice Soto lovingly cared for her in the last 18 years of her life. Margaret’s sister Hope Beltran also aided with her care for many years. The family gives anyone and everyone else who cared for Margaret their greatest and warmest gratitude.
