Maria Guadalupe Jimenez passed away in Hollister at the age of 87. She was born in Tuxpan, Nayarit, Mexico and moved to San Benito County from Stockton many years ago. She worked at the local cannery, was a member of Sacred Heart/St. Benedict Church and Teamsters Union Local 890. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Jimenez, who died in 2017.
She is survived by her children, Jesus Jimenez (Candy) of Hollister, Maria Diaz (Jesus) of Hollister, Jose Jimenez Jr (Esmeralda) of Gustine and Maria S. Jimenez (Miguel Madrigal) of San Juan Bautista. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica, Aracely, Jesus Jr, Jorge,. Neyda, Sarrah, Miguel, Ana, Alyssa, Gabriela, Erik and Salvador and her great grandchildren, Alex, Izaak, Danny, Ximena, Dahlia and Troy.
She is preceded in death by her two sons, Jorge and Pedro Jimenez.
Friends can pay their respects on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Rosary will be at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Mass will be on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church with interment to follow at San Juan District Cemetery.
