Mary J. Tovar

Mary J. Tovar of San Juan Bautista, California passed away peacefully February 24, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born to parents Pablo and Victoria Gutierrez, December 27, 1944, in Ventura California. Mary was married to the late Dario C. Tovar they lived together in San Juan Bautista till Dario passing in 1999.

Mary is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

Macario (Shannon) Tovar of Joseph Oregon. Lana (Brandon) Buckles, Everett, Illa. Chrystal Tovar, Corrina, Macario Tovar Jr., Mark, and Shantel Osquisa Davis. Victoria (Guillermo) Diaz of San Juan Bautista. Alfredo Tovar, Antonio (Katherine) Tovar, Aurora. Cassandra (Hector) Rosario, Sophia, Ivan, Camila. Guillermo Diaz Jr. Roxxana (Christopher) Arballo of Hollister California. Lorena (Amanda) Tovar of Nipomo California.

Mary enjoyed attending Jovenes de Antonio senior center. Her many hobbies included bingo, visiting casinos, playing lottery scratchers, watching the Golden Girls and Hallmark movies. But her most favorite hobby was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary’s final wish was to be cremated and to have a quite service held at a later date and time.
