Minerva G. Palafox passed away in Watsonville at the age of 82. She was born in San Antonio, TX and lived in Hollister for many years moving here from Redwood City. She was a Catholic, enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking.
She is survived by her children, Willie Palafox (Diane) of Hollister, Felix Palafox (Julie) of Hollister, Andy Palafox of Ventura and Jeff Palafox (Dorothy) of Sinton, TX, her brothers, Jose Garza Jr of Casa Grande, AZ, Jesse Garza of San Diego and Rudy Garza of Hollister and her grandchildren, Christina Leon, Willie Palafox Jr, Marissa Hernandez, Matthew Palafox, Alex Palafox, Devon Palafox, Samantha Taylor, Jessica Palafox, Jasmine Garza, Jordan Elmhorst, Tasha Dwyer, Jocelyn Palafox, Robert Palafox, Theresa Palafox and Paul Palafox.
She is preceded in death by her son, John Palafox and her sister, Velia Hernandez.
Friends can pay their respects on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The services will be at 12:00 noon with Fr. German Rodriguez of Sacred Heart Church officiating. The services will conclude at the funeral home with private cremation to follow.
