Nestor Rodriguez passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday June 27, 2017 in Tacoma, Washington at the age of 58.
Nestor is survived by his Mother, Maria Del Rosario Corpuz ; Wife, Norma Rodriguez; Son, Emmanuel Rodriguez; Daughter, Vanessa Rodriguez; Grandsons, Enzo & Ezekiel Rodriguez; Daughter in law, Katrina Rodriguez; Dog, Tootsie Rodriguez and Siblings Olivia Artiaga, Federica Brusa, Geri De La Torre, Dionicia Thomas, Isaias Madrid, Maria Augustine and Batseba Escoto.
Nestor was born on February 16, 1959 in Durango, Durango, Mexico to Nicodemos Rodriguez and Maria Del Rosario Rodriguez. He received his G.E.D from Job Corps in Layton, UT in 1979. He blissfully married his soul mate, Norma (Escobedo) Rodriguez on June 21, 1980 and recently celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary. After moving to Castroville, CA Nestor began working in field irrigation. Three years later Emmanuel was born and 14 months after that Vanessa was born. In 1987, he and his family moved to San Diego, CA where he became a successful Cement Mason. In 1997, the entire family relocated to the Bay Area where he worked for Dolan Concrete for over 20 years. In April of 2017, his love of nature and his family enticed him to relocate to Puyallup, WA. 
His children will always remember him as a hardworking, adventure seeker who was extremely loving and giving to others. He always encouraged them to be respectful, selfless, hardworking and to enjoy life to the fullest. Nestor enjoyed golf, soccer and snowboarding. He spent most of his free time with his family and taking his grandsons to find new outdoor adventures. He was a funny, loving individual who adored his grandsons Enzo and Ezekiel more than anything and was passionate about finding Bigfoot and UFO’s with Enzo.
The family would like to sincerely thank the Doctors, Nurses and Care Staff at Tacoma General Hospital for their excellent care of Nestor. He will be missed dearly by all.
