Passed Away On: October 30, 2021
Vincent A. Martinez passed away peacefully in Los Banos, California at the age of 90 years old on October 30, 2021. Vince was the loving husband of Lydia Martinez for 30 years.
Vince will be remembered for living his life to the fullest. He was a U.S. Airforce veteran. Vince worked most of his career as a butcher before retiring from Nob Hill Foods.
We always looked forward to Dad always sharing one of his funny stories with us. We will always cherish the lifetime of memories spent with him.
He was deeply loved by his family and friends and he will be missed very much.
Vince is survived by his wife, Lydia Martinez, daughter Elaine Guttirez, son Vincent Martinez (Maida); step children, Bobby Luna (Luzekny), Hector Luna (Debbie), Mario Luna; daughter in law Annette Luna, brother Trino Martinez, sisters Rose Bishop (Gene), Joby Weltz, Esther Johnson (Karl), Lupe Katsuda, Margie Herzog (Monte) along with numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Vince is preceded in death by his parents Tomas and Mary Martinez, former spouse Jennie Martinez, daughter Christine Sanchez and Karen Baumgartner, stepson Carlos Luna and sister Patsy Zuniga.
Rosary service will be held on November 9, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel, 18405 Center Avenue, Los Banos, California.
Burial gravesite service will be held November 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the California Korean Memorial Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Road, Santa Nella, California.
