24th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival returns to Tres Pinos

The festival is a showcase of top California bluegrass talent and a small, friendly jamming event
AJ Lee playing the mandolin.

This will be the second year that the Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival will be held at the San Benito County Historical Park, next to Bolado Park off Airline Highway. The host, the San Benito County Historical Society, offers a site that gives bluegrass fans more shade, more grass, a picking-friendly historical village, and upgrarded facilities. Additional improvements have been made since last year.

The festival also features shade over the audience area, food, hot showers, the NCBS elections, a raffle, camping (free with a multi-day ticket), children’s activities, and lots of friendly people. There will be plenty of tickets at the gate.

Thursday at the festival is devoted to jamming and socializing (beginning at noon when the gates open). Here is the weekend stage schedule:

My Hollister Boyscout Troop collects recycling as a method to raise funds for 2018 Summer Camp at Emerald Bay.

Who can I talk to about having our troop collect recycling during and after the event?

Thanks!
