28th Annual Lights On Celebration Results

HDA announces winners of holiday event, which had a total of 79 entries.

The Hollister Downtown Association announces the winners of the 28th annual Lights On Celebration that took place Saturday Nov. 24 in downtown Hollister. There were 79 entries.

Parade Winners

Best of Parade: San Benito Foods

Best Use of Lights: Tap Dancing Trees

Best Use of Theme: Hollister Heat Girls Fast Pitch

Best Community Group: Yamamoto Hula Ohana

Best of Parade will receive $100.00; other parade category winners will receive $30.00. Checks will be mailed to the winners.

Decorate-A-Tree Winners

First Place: Shaw’s Appliance Repair

Second Place: Paine’s Restaurant

Third Place: Women’s Club of Hollister

Honorable Mention: Cerra Vista Kindergarten

Honorable Mention: Girl Scout Troop 23403

Honorable Mention: San Benito County Arts Council
